9 Cambridge St Application for Certificate of Non-applicability Window Repair Window Repair to consist of: ●Replacement of most Storm Windows: ○Presently storms are a mix of newer white storms and older unpainted raw aluminum (silver metal) storms. ○Existing unpainted storms are in poor condition, with gaps, warping, oxidation of frames and screens, and several with cracked glass. ○Existing white storms appear to have been installed relatively recently by previous owner, and are in good repair. ○The existing white storms (5 windows) will not be replaced. ○24 existing unpainted storms in heated areas to be replaced. ○3 existing unpainted storms in unheated rear entry of the house will not be replaced. Steve indicated he had done replacement storms for a couple of our neighbors on Cambridge St previously. ●Repair of wood windows: ○Several windows have cracked glass, failing glaze, chipping paint and/or other functional issues. ○Window repair to be performed by Window Woman of New England. ○Currently expect 3 windows with water damage to require “renovation” level service, with others merely needing “tune up” as detailed on their website : http://www.window-woman.com/services/ ○Basic repairs will involve: cracked glass panes to be replaced and windows to be repaired and reglazed as needed.
