Ch. 40C) and the Salem Historic Districts Ordinance. District: McIntire District Address of Property: 19 North Street Name of Record Owner: Andrew and Dimitra Milas Description of Approval of Work: ▪ Replace front door with new 6 panel wood door per #417 door model in SHC Design Guidelines (see attached) with the following condition: bottom panel to correspond with dimensions of adjacent sidelight panel. Door to be painted black. ▪ Replace entrance sidelights with new wood, true-divided 4-light sidelights. The following items are approved under a Certificate of Non-Applicability: ▪ Replacement of light fixture at front door (not within SHC jurisdiction); ▪ Replacement of house numbers (not within SHC jurisdiction); ▪ Replacement of rear basement windows (not visible from public way); ▪ Installation of new wood storm door on rear entrance (not visible from a public way and not within SHC jurisdiction); ▪ Replace deteriorated wood trim to match existing in terms of materials, dimensions, color, design and outward appearance (in-kind repair/replacement). Upon completion of work, please notify Historical Commission staff for final review and sign-off of Certificate.
