Ch. 40C) and the Salem Historic Districts Ordinance. District: Derby Street Address of Property: 102 Derby Street Name of Record Owner: George Bradbury Description of Approval of Work: o New fence and retaining wall with the following conditions: o Fence to be constructed of white cedar with natural wood finish or painted white to match house trim color; o Fence to be set back approximately 16” from retaining wall with planting bed between fence and retaining wall; o Fence to be 6’ tall in solid board style. Posts to be located behind board panels to allow panels to run passed the posts with no visual interruption. Posts shall be cut lower than board panels so as not to be visible from street; o Retaining wall to extend the length of east property boundary, approximately 18’. o Retaining wall to be approximately 12” tall and constructed of Lakeland Tumbled Concrete Garden Wall Block (8” x 12” x 4”) in red. Upon completion of work, please notify Historical Commission staff for final review and sign-off of Certificate.
