It is hereby certified that the Salem Historical Commission has determined that the proposed:

set forth in the Historic District's Act(M.G.L. Ch. 40C) and the Salem Historic Districts Ordinance.

■ Replace existing wire mesh fence on west property line with new capped picket wood fence. New
fence to be stained black;
■ Replace existing wood picket fence and gate at end of brick path on west side of house with new
capped picket wood fence and gate;
■ Repair and/or replace existing shutters with Beech River Mill wood shutters in"Salem Style".
Shutters to be painted black to match existing shutter color;
■ Paint rear ell of house on east side to match existing gray color; and
■ Repair and repaint white wood lattice in east side yard.
Upon completion of work,please notify Historical Commission staff forfinal review and sign-off of
Certificate.

indicated. THIS IS NOT A BUILDING PERMIT. Please be sure to obtain the appropriate permits from
