It is hereby certified that the Salem Historical Commission has determined that the proposed:

o One 3-5 ring bike rack to be installed in southwest corner of Common by Washington Square South
and the Hawthorne Hotel.Rack to be installed in manner to eliminate exposed base rail from view; and
o Two 3-5 ring bike racks to be installed in southeast corner of Common near corner of Washington
Square East and Forrester Street and adjacent to basketball court. One rack may have Zagster
signage. Racks to installed in manner to eliminate exposed base rail from view.
Upon completion of above work,please notify Historical Commission staff as final sign-off is
required to document compliance with this Certificate.
