exemptions or limitations set forth in the Historic District's Act (M.G.L. Ch. 40C) and the Salem Historic
Districts Ordinance.

▪ Repair deteriorated siding and trim on east elevation as necessary*. Repaint to match existing
colors. All work to replicate existing materials, dimensions, design, location, color and outward
appearance.
*NOTE: Historic materials and details must be retained and repaired except where material is not
salvageable and must be replaced. If replacement is necessary, new elements must replicate
existing details, dimensions and materials. Should any changes to materials, design or outward
appearance be determined necessary, Applicant must submit a new application for review.
Non-applicable due to being in-kind painting and repairs.
Upon completion of above work, please notify Historical Commission staff as final sign-off is required
to document compliance with this Certificate and approved plans.
