Upon Inspection the following were noted: 7 Days .500 1. White panel on step leading into kitchen from outdoor side entrance is bent and peeling away from step. Repair this panel so it is no longer bent and is flush to step. Owner has 7 DAYS to start making a good- faith effort to correct violation. .500 2. The two living room windows closest to the apartment's entry door 7 Days have bottom sashes that fall when lifted. Repair these window sashes so that they open and close with ease and can stay open under their own power. Owner has 7 DAYS to start making a good-faith effort to correct violation. .551 3. Living room window nearest apartment's entry door lacks a screen. 7 Days Provide a screen that covers at least half of the window's area. Owner has 7 DAYS to start making a good-faith effort to correct violation. .500 4. The living room has several outlets and light switches that lack 7 Days covers, leaving interior of wall and wiring exposed. Provide proper covers for these outlets and light switches. Mold and water damage found on wall and floor of cupboard beneath 24 Hours kitchen sink. Find cause of mold growth and water damage and repair. White brick wall and ceiling tiles above stove in kitchen show signs of 24 Hours water damage with brown discoloration. Find cause of water damage and repair. Kitchen floor tiles nearest entryway into living room are loose. Repair 7 Days kitchen floor tiles so they are properly grouted and affixed to the floor Owner has 7 DAYS to start making a good-faith effort to correct violations. .501 11. Kitchen door leading to outside has gaps between door and door 7 Days jamb large enough to allow rodents to enter apartment. Repair or adjust this door so that the perimeter of the door has a gap less than 1/161h of an inch between it and the door frame. I .550 12.A dead mouse was found beneath the refrigerator and mice f 24 Hours droppings were found beneath the stove in the kitchen. Owner is to hire a professionally licensed exterminator and have the exterminator exterminate the apartment and all adjacent walls. Any holes leading into the apartment must be plugged to prevent re-entry from mice. Owner must send extermination report to the Salem Board of Health after the extermination has taken place. Exterminator is to return as often as needed to rid the building of mice. Owner has 24 HOURS to start making good-faith effort to correct violation. .500 13. Laundry room has a dryer vent that has cloth stuffed around its edges 24 Hours to make the vent fit in the wall outlet properly.
