The lower portion of the second-story bay window is in need of repair. The boards had been filled with wood filler
or Bondo in the past; it and the paint are flaking off. Things have moved and cracked, and some of the wood has
rotted. We propose replacing the wood; the replacement would be in-kind material. The molding would be
replicated exactly as it currently is.Attached are images of the current state of the bay window. We would hire
Mark Pattison, a local preservation carpenter, to do the work. He plans to replicate what is there now, and we
would have it painted the same color as it is now.
