Along Summer St, install 3' wide inswing pedestrian door and 10' wide rolling gate to more closely align to what was originally there (see historic photo). Rolling gate is seen at 29 Chestnut St, along Warren St (see provided picture). We would not have a digital keypad and rolling hardware will not be visible from the street. Rolling gate desired so we don't have to make half our property a driveway in order to pull a car in. Interested in Commission's thoughts on using wider 8" posts for Summer St facade. Hand forged iron bean mortise lockset hardware for pedestrian door and matching bean pull for rolling gate. Along High Street, maintain existing layout and 6' height, but change style to colonial tongue & groove. Current door swings outward, change it to swing inward. Hardware to be simple, lockable black thumb latch. High Street is not in the historic district, although can be seen from Summer St Color: Summer Street & High Street = C2 Black Bean to match trim on home. Street-facing fences historically are painted, not stained Remainder of surrounding fence = Semi-transparent cedar stain X X XStacey Norkun 617-817-7274 staceynorkun@gmail.com May 26, 2020 Areas to fence 10 Monroe 1800's photo showing original style of fence & pedestrian door at 53/54 Summer Street.
