We are planning to install temporary wooden and glass windows in the John Ward House so the original leaded
casements can be removed for conservation. This will be done in batches of five windows at a time. The project
will include repairs to the lead-work,replacement of broken panes,repairs to the wooden frames and re-securing
the existing original hardware. The temporary wooden windows will allow light into the rooms to the building can
remain open to the public while the work is being completed. The frames of hte windows will be painted to match
the color of the building.
