Our building has four flat,rubber rooves that are old and in dire need of replacement.We are requesting a permit
to replace the rooves and gutters on the following areas of the house:
* Rear porch(please refer to Exhibit 1 for the location)
* First floor unit's kitchen(please refer to Exhibit 1 for the location)
* Second floor unit's bathroom(please refer to Exhibit 1 for the location)
* Front porch (please refer to Exhibit 2 for the location)
The roof above the first floor kitchen has leaked twice in the last year,causing damage to the interior ceiling and
walls.The gutters that line the flat rooves are also in need of replacement,as they have allowed water to leak
behind the clapboards on the side of the house,causing the exterior paint to peel. (See Exhibit 3.Note that the
house was last painted in 2016.)
In addition to replacing the gutters,we will also be repairing and replacing the fascia boards that join these flat
rooves to the house. Please refer to the estimate from Golini Roofing for more specific details about the materials
and repair work.Pictures of all four areas of the house are attached,with views from the street(to show the
location of the work)and from the second floor(to show the condition of the current roofing).Individual photos
are labeled.
