Repair damaged to back carriage house caused by a fallen tree. Includes removing roof, roof rafters and ceiling
joists and at least two walls on the second floor to determine the extent of the structural damage. Once structural
damaged is assessed, a structural engineer will prepare a structural reconstruction plan. Plan is to reconstruct the
second floor of the carriage house with a similar roof,wall and window structure. The windows will be replaced
with Wood based Pella Architect Series Traditional Windows with 7/8 " Integral Light Technology(ILT) Grilles.
(same windows approved by Historic Commission on a prior renovation). Time is of the essence since the house is
exposed to the elements. Once framed,we plan on reinstalling similar clapboard siding, facia and soffit trim,
gutters, Colonial Slate Architectural roof shingles, and same trim and siding paint.
