Replace shutters • My current shutters are made on an inexpensive pine and they are rotting and falling apart. Also, they are not appropriate for the period of my home. (see attached photos) • I would like to replace them with a Classic Exterior New England Style Louver 1-1/8" Thick made from Western Red Cedar with Midrail 50150 Split. They will also have Ship Lap&Bead detail. • These shutters will have the appropriate hardware: traditional hinge and pintel painted galvanized steel with horns on bottom of shutter to accommodate spring hold backs. I feel these will be a better representation of the period of my home. • I would also like to change the color of the shutters, along with the deck of my front porch from blue to black. See paint color below and see photo showing porch color now (brown). That photo shows the porch and shutter in one photo. • I have contracted with New England Shutter Mills.
