The costs for this engineering study will be passed on to the owner. • Tecta America New England LLC is a licensed applicator for Johns Manville. • This proposal assumes access around the building for loading,debris removal,and roof access. • Roof access would be through interior of structure. • This proposal does not include hazardous material removal: • Roofing material to be lowered to grounds via variable reach forklift or crane. • Debris container to be left in parking lot until conclusion of roofing project, • Temporary toilet included. • This proposal does not include interior protection. • The owner is responsible for identifying and locating electrical lines that will interfere with roofing, Teota will not be held responsible for electrical lines that are damaged during roof installation. Owner/General Contractor will be invoiced for callbacks due to damage to the roof system. 8) Tecla America New England,LLC estimale/proposal is valid for up to 30 days and does not constitute a contract until signed by both patties. 9) If it is determined that the existing roof contains asbestos:additional removal and disposal costs will be incurred and billed to the Owner or General Contractor. 10) Billings unpaid over 30 days shall be subject to 1.5%per month financing charge.The customer will be held responsible for any fees or costs TANE incurs in relation to collecting outstanding invoices.This includes,but is not limited to,attorney or accountant.fees, court foes,arbitration or mediation fees,or any other fee associated with collecting unpaid invoices. 11) When existing roofs are being removed,dirt and debris may enter the building through cracks,seams and/or holes in the decking. Tecta America Now England,LLC shall not be responsible for any cleaning or repairs that may be necessary. 12) Once both parties have signed this proposal,a schedule for commencement of work will be established based.on present weather conditions and TANE present workload. 13) If the owner requires Tecia America New England,LLC to obtain the building permit,TANE may require that an engineering study be done to ensure the existing building structure is capable of handling the new roof system per current slate and local building codes. The costs for the building permit and the engineering study will be passed on In the owner. 14) Tccta America New England LLC will not take the responsibility for covering roof penetrations or unit curbs unless arrangements have been made prior to the commencement of the work. All additional penetrations/curbs will be billed at TANE standard hourly rate plus materials. 17) Tecta America New England,LLC has allotted for two mobilizations per project. If additional mobilizations are required,a charge of $500 per additional mobilization will be.charged. A mobilization is defined as consecutive days worked, 18) Tecia America New England,LLC and/or the manufacturer%vill not be held responsible for toordelaminalion due to fool irafFC; It will be the owner's responsibility to notify other trades of puleniial damage to the roofing system and to provide protection for the rooing system when.irades are required to%York on the roof. 19) The contract shall define a start date that includes the right to bring in all the materials for the project on that dale.If this dale slips the customer shall be responsible for any additional costs Tecta America New England incurs due to the delay of the project such as material price increases,manpower cost increases,and General Condition's cost'increases or shipment delays costs.If the customer asks for Tecla America New England to bring the material as scheduled and store it off site,the customer agrees to pay for additional storage,handling,trucking and other associated costs related to the delay.TANE also has the right to invoice for the materials brought in and stored on'site. 20) Owner shall defend,indemnify and hold harmless Tecta America New England and their officers,directors,employees,agents from and.against any and all claims,damages,liability,losses and expenses arising from any interior damage that may occur as a result of this work. 2 t) To prevent possible air quality problems in occupied and non-occupied areas,TAKE requires that all H VAC and make-Lip air equipment is turned off while working and[he owner notify lenants of the work prior to commencement. Should[his not be feasible, the Owner shall furnish TANE a waiver and release for all die claims that may occur as a result orlhis work. 22) Tecla America New England will not be held responsible for substrates which are not supplied and installed by TANE. This applies to pressure treated wood blocking for perimeter fascias,parapet walls;vertical walls and/or any substrate(Masonry,Wall Board,ctc.) which accepts fabricated metal either(lashings or systems. 23) Tecto America New England,LLC will not take responsibility for project iime delays related to weather sensitive products specified by-the Project Architects,Consultants or Owners Project Representatives, 24) All new Tecia America New England,LLC customers are required to fill out the Tecla America New England's New Customer Application and obtain credit approval prior to Tccla America'New England,LLC signing a contract. 25) The owner is responsible for having all electrical powers lines properly booted by the Electrical Company which pose a safety concern to Tecla America New England Employees during the new Application. 26) Tecta America will not held responsible for internal electrical lines orjunction boxes attached to the underneath of the existing steel roof deck. It is the responsibility of the owner or General Contractor to identify and mark. 27) The owner is responsible for properly ensuring that their existing roof drains are draining properly.
