We are planning on replacing the back door and transom of the home. The current back door has a split and needs to be replaced. We are replacing the current wood door and glass transom with a fir wood door and glass transom. The colors will remain the same;black exterior. The back door is not visible from any street or public access way. The back of our home faces the back of a home on Chestnut Street. Attached to this application you will find the rendering of the new wood door. You will also find the proposal from JB Sash,the company that will be doing the repair. Lastly, I've included photos of the current back door. We are also planning on replacing the storm door on the side of the home. The previous storm door was damaged and removed prior to our moving into the home in August 2015. We would be replacing the old storm door with a Privia Model 590 Full View Storm Door. The color will be black. As a full view storm door, only glass is visible, the low profile black trim is not visible. The location of the door is hardly visible from Essex St. The attached view of the door is from my neighbor's side yard(389 Essex St)which is the closest to seeing it from the Street. Attached you will find photos of the current door without a screen door. You can see where the hardware of the old storm door was on the molding of the current door.
