As requested we are quoting you on the following work: Replace(2)valley and asphalt/slate roofing that abut valley on driveway side: • Set a roof staging to replace the Valley and shingles on the West side towards the back at the above address. • Remove all the shingles that abut the valley on left side • The left side of the valley will be replaced with asphalt shingles,and the right side of this valley will be replaced with slate.Material will be replaced with"inkind" materials • Replace shingles with"Certainteed 3-tab shingles"to match the remainder of the roof.Slate will be reused with what is salvageable,remainder will be replaced with the same color and size as the remainder of the valley • Ice and water shield will be applied to the roof boards at the bottom 3' and up the entire valley,synthetic paper to the remainder of the roof expose • Cut valley will be the finish product with a clean straight line going up the valley on both valleys • Remove all material at the end of each day • Clean up debris at the end of each day Cost to do this work will be TWO THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED SIXTY ($2,360.00)DOLLARS. New rubber membrane roofs(2)to upper barrel vault roof on the west side: • Strip the existing roof down to the roof boards.Dispose of material properly • Furnish and install new .060 EPDM rubber membrane roof over a mechanically fastened 1/2"insulation board • Rubber membrane is fully adhered to the insulation board • Terminate the outside edge with 16oz custom copper edge cleat.Matching the existing metal profile.Keeping the edge metal detail the same as the existing,or "In kind". • All flashing and seams will be done to the manufacturers specifications. • Terminate the wall by removing existing wood fascia and ornamental scrolls to allow the rubber membrane to turn up behind the wood fascia.Membrane will turn up the wall a minimum of 6". • Clean up debris upon completion of the work each day. Cost to do this work will be TWO THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED FIFTY FIVE ($2,355.00)DOLLARS per dormer.2-barrel vault dormers on the roof,cost to do both will be$4,710.00. Re-flash 2 open slate valleys,Front gable roof: • Set a roof stage at the bottom of each valley • Remove the existing slate on both sides of the valley,2 slate wide on both sides of the valley and remove the old copper flashings • Ice and water shield will be installed in the valley with 18"coverage on both sides of the valley.This will be the underlayment for the valley • Fabricate and install new 16oz custom copper valley flashings,bent to the pitch of both roofs • Copper valleys will lock together at the top of the valley forming a flat seamed lock • 4"lap under both sides of the slate • Slate will be reused and put back together in the order they came out,replacing any broken or cracked slate with new slate,same color and size • Any broken slate in the area of these valleys will be replaced at this time • Copper nails will fasten the slate and valley stock to the roof • Clean up debris and dispose of material properly Cost to do each slate valley will be TWO THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY ($2,170.00)DOLLARS per valley.2 Valleys will be$4,340.00. Clean up debris upon completion of the work and furnish workmen's compensation and public liability insurance to protect the owner in case of an accident while work is in progress.
