Replacement of roof shingles on the Derby Street side and on the back alley side(entrance from Carlton Street
before yellow house) of Townsend House Condominium's brick building as part of general building maintenance.
The roof has not been replaced in a number of years and we have started to experience occasional leaks. Shingles
will be replaced in the same color scheme but we would like to switch to architectural shingles--GAF Timberline
Natural Shadow in Pewter Gray--for durability reasons,but our contractor also believes it could be an appropriate
appearance for the building(as does the building inspector).

The condos are comprised of two buildings: a
brick portion on the corner of Carlton and
Derby Streets and a wood portion that sits on
Derby. The roof shingles to be redone are on
the Derby Street side and on the back alley
side (entrance from Carlton Street before `
yellow house) of the brick building. Shingles f
