This scope of this project is to replace the existing painted wood sidewalk fence. The wood fence shall be
replaced by the restoration and extension of the existing Brick Pilaster/Iron picket fence that extends from
the northeast corner of the Armory on Brown St eastward to the driveway in front of the John Ward House.
The two existing driveway entrances shall be replaced with just one.
This project shall be completed in conjunction with the re constitution of the Essex Block Federal Garden
and Landscapes as more fully detailed in the attached documentation.
It is noted that this project has the conditional approval of the SRA and DRB,pending approval of the
Salem Historical Commission.
