Hi Brennan,
My names Christopher Mooney, I’m the owner of 20 Loring Ave, Unit 1, the same small complex as Colleen. I spoke with
her about this as well and share the same feelings as her. I can’t make the meeting tonight but wanted to send
something via email.
I hate being that guy and don’t want to be a rude neighbor, but I’m definitely opposed to a business at 24 Loring
Ave. The parking and foot traffic concerns me. It can already get very congested. I’ve had so many issues over the years
with parents or students blocking my driveway when there’s no where to park, they’ll just park at the end of the
driveway and leave the car running some of the time, especially for drop offs/pickups. Although it’s a very busy area,
our side of the street does have a somewhat residential feel, as there’s nothing commercial from the credit union at the
corner of the street down to the firehouse/ins agency, I think keeping it that way makes the most sense. I personally
would be against a business right in the middle of this area, especially not knowing the full details/capacity of the
business.

Thank you for your email. Please feel free to read my email. Please be assured we are not trying to be challenging
neighbors however we are opposed to adding this business to a residential area. There is already significant traffic due to
the college, etc. and this will result in additional parking and traffic, and we want to keep the area primary residential as it
is a beautiful area. The proposal from 24 Loring Ave is also confusing as to whether this business will be in the garage or
the home, if not both.
