Dear Owners,
This Department has received and confirmed the installation of a tiny home at your property.
City of Salem Zoning, section 6.2, prohibits the use of a trailer for living purposes anywhere in
the City. Additionally,the trailer would constitute a third unit on the property which would be a
second Zoning violation. Zoning violations carry up to $300 per day fines with each day
constituting another violation. You are directed to remove the tiny house within 15 days of this
notice.
If you feel you are aggrieved by this order,you have the right to appeal this order to the Salem
Zoning Board of Appeals.
