Re: Construction Observation
Dear Tom,
The following observations are based on a periotic site visits by Michel Beheshti,of my staff.
Observations:
Note: First floor units,exterior work and exterior stairs are done by others and are not part of our scope of
design work or construction observations/control.We take no responsibility,and are not associated with this
work.These are repairs done directly by the building Ownership.
General areas:
• The front stair up to 2°d floor is being painted.
• The new doors with hardware leading to the 2°d floor common porch are installed.
• All units' first coat of paint is complete.
UNIT#3:
• All partitions and demising walls as well as ceilings are completed.
• All partitions and ceilings have G.W.B.,plaster and first coat of paint.
• New doors in 2'&3"floors are installed and have hardware.
• The new windows have built-in limiting devices.
• All smoke detectors,carbon monoxides and life safety devices are installed.
• The 95%of light fixtures are installed.
• All doors and windows have trims and painted.
• All electrical panels are installed.
• The MEP items,registers and grills,etc.are installed and are operational.
• The kitchen cabinets and appliances are installed.
• The new egress skylight has been installed on 3'floor roof.The porch roof railing is next.
• The 95%of bathroom fixture such as vanity,toilets and shower/tubs are installed.
• The hatch room floors have tiles as well as the shower/tub walls.
• The new hard wood floors are installed.
• The new access panel for attic is installed.
• The railing at stair to 3"floor has been installed and need paint.
• The stack washer and dryer are being installed.
• The heating system and hot water heater are installed.
Unit#4:

Recommendations or Actions:
1-The Structural Engineer will be submitting independent reports.
2-The MEP,fire protection,civil reports are not part of this report.
