Dear Owners,
I have placed Robert Labelle in violation again and he has 30 days to commence his work. I have e-mailed most
of you a copy but all will receive a hard copy. The skylights themselves need to be upgraded to an escape type
window but the issue of accessing them is not an issue that the Contractor is responsible for. A ships ladder or
other means to access these skylights, needs to be constructed or purchased by any unit that has a skylight as the
only means of egress from a bedroom(not counting the door you enter the bedroom from). Usually we would
ask for a design Professional to submit a drawing for something like this but if all parties can agree on a ladder
and hardware, this could probably be eliminated. I I ask that all affected unit owners meet to decide on a
standard design that we,the City,can accept ,and then also get the Board to accept. If this can be done within
the next month or so, and if a meeting room is needed and or you want us to participate, let me know and we
will schedule a meeting.
