5. Fire Protection Systems to be installed:
Provide new standpipe connections for construction period on site.
All new work shall be in compliance with MSBC (9th edition), NFPA 13 and as referenced in the
Massachusetts state building code.
6. Features resulting from design methodology:
Sprinkler systems work designed in accordance with MSBC and NFPA 13 (as referenced in the
current MSBC)
All equipment to be UL listed and FM approved for fire protection use.
7. Special Considerations and descriptions:
Scope of work as shown on drawings. All other portions of the building are outside of scope.
No Applications of performance -based design
No official code interpretations.
8. Testing Criteria:
Tests will be conducted to the satisfaction of the engineer of record, and local authorities.
All system will be tested yearly per NFPA 25 prior to activation.
9. Approval Requirements:
Written approval of final test shall be provided by the Engineer or Record. AHJ's may or may not
require finial testing and inspection.
Submit all required testing forms to the AHJ's.
