THE FIRST 6" SYSTEM EXTENDS UP THE BUILDING AND SUPPLIES UPRIGHT SPRINKLER PROTECTION ON THE 4TH AND 5TH FLOORS. THE SECOND 6" SYSTEM SUPPLIES THE UPRIGHT SPRINKLER SYSTEM IN THE BASEMENT, 1ST AND 2ND LEVELS. EXISTING UPRIGHT PROTECTION CONSISTS OF A PIPE -SCHEDULE SYSTEM WITH 12" UPRIGHT SPRINKLERS SPACED LESS THAN 130-SF, CONSISTENT WITH A TYPICAL MANUFACTURING BUILDING OF THIS AGE. THE EXISTING PIPING APPEARS IN GOOD PHYSICAL CONDITION AND PORTIONS OF THE BUILDING HAVE HAD THE UPRIGHT HEADS REPLACED IN PAST YEARS.
