The new construction will consist of a 6-story mixed use multifamily building with 2 levels of garage parking. The underground garage, level 1 & level 2 will be steel & concrete. Floors 2 to 6 will be wood frame construction. Level 1 will contain parking and a retail / restaurant space on Washington St. The residential portion will be from levels 2 to 6, which will be a mix of one, two and three bed condominiums. Occupancy during Construction The building will be completely vacant during construction other than construction personnel The attached building at 32 Church St is to remain occupied Site office and Materials stored The construction site office will be contained on the first floor of 32 Church St Salem MA Materials stored will be within 20’ storage containers until the structure is complete. Upon completion of the structure storage bays will be constructed within the level 1 parking area using no-combustible materials Impairments to active systems As this is new construction there will be no impairments to any existing system ITEM 2.
