What compounds the problem(and the killing)is that the 600 million stray dogs reproduce. They give
birth to over ONE BILLION stray puppies... every two years. (Some estimates place this figure closer to
THREE BILLION homeless puppies.)
Often mass killings are ordered just before high-profile media events. Local governments will order
that as many strays as possible be killed before large numbers of foreign news reporters begin arriving.
For example...,
• In 2004,the Summer Olympics were held in Athens,Greece. Just before the
Olympics 30,000 to 50,000 street dogs were poisoned.
• In 2006,just before the Environmental Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro 30,000
street dogs were poisoned.
• In 2007,just prior to a NATO meeting in Serbia 40,000 dogs were poisoned.
Even people's companion dogs are killed...
Recently,the International Herald Tribune reported that in China a"twelve year old boy... and his
father were forced to march their two German shepherds to a public square and hang them from a tree."
To end this cruelty I have founded a new non profit,IRS registered charitable organization. It has a
long name but the message is clear:
It's called 600 Million Stray Dogs Need You.
The solution is also crystal clear.
We are in the process of developing specialized,long-term"super"birth control pills(in the
form of food pellets,)for dogs... formulas that will provide years of contraception, from just one dose. This
will enable us to humanely cause the stray dog populations to crash,without any killing,
without surgery, and without any suffering.
Cats are also euthanized by the millions. Deer,rabbits,coyotes, and kangaroos are shot by the millions.
This mass killing has been going on for decades.
But here's somethingI'll l bet you didn't know. For years,while all of this killing has been going on,
there have existed over 100 known contraceptives—birth control pills, formulas,and drugs that work on
humans. And guess what? Many of them work on animals too.
