RE: City Ordinance and Building code violation
Dear Owners,
This Department has been receiving complaints about your single family home being used for a
rooming house or multi family use in violation of City of Salem Zoning. There is also a
complaint that a bathroom and other construction was recently completed in the basement of
your home.
Per the State Building Code, ,a"required inspection"is required . The Inspection will be myself
along with a plumbing inspector, electrical Inspector and Fire Prevention. The required
inspection is scheduled for Tuesday, July 21 at 9:30. All areas of the building will need to be
available for inspection. . If you have any questions, please contact me directly.
