Re: Erroneous Assessment of 162 North Street
Dear Sir or Madam:
I reviewed the property card for 162 North Street, and I noted an"extra feature,"namely
a shed.
There is no shed at 162 North Street.
I put up a shed at 162 '/%North Street in 2018 (with a permit, of course).
Please correct your records to reflect that 162 '/2 has the shed, not 162. It is possible that
the contractor put the incorrect address down when he pulled the permit.
I own both properties so it doesn't affect my bottom line at all just shifts from one
property to the other—but I think you would like your records to be accurate. I would like both
the assessor's records and the building department records to be accurate in case I ever sell.
Also, I don't want it to appear from the assessor's or building department records that I failed to
pull a permit for the shed.
Thank you very much for your kind attention to this matter.
Very truly yours,
