UNIT 1 ADDING 3/4 BATH March 3,2020 TMCA Trustees 129 Essex Street Salem Ma. 01970 Re: proposed additional 3/4 bathroom to Unit 1 Dear Trustees: I have been asked by the owners of Unit 1 in your condominium about any issues that might arise from an additional 3/4 bath being constructed in Unit#1. As far as Building code goes, as long as plans are done by a licensed Architect and permits pulled by a construction supervisor, there are no issues under the Building Code. Plumbing pipe sizing would only be a concern if you were adding additional bedrooms and more residents. Additionally, such an improvement would have no effect on any other unit in the building or on any of the common areas and thus also could have no adverse effect on any structural members of the building.
