YMCA REQUEST TO HANG BANNER v

o Dear Madam:
I would like to request permission from the City
Council to hang a banner at the corner of Washington
and Essex Street during the first two weeks of
September. As you may know, the Salem YMCA is
planning an ambitious expansion of its facility to
relieve overcrowding and to offer more programming to
IJ LI LJ the community . The purpose of the banneri to -
encourage community support of our fund raising
campaign and would say "Make A Splash in Salem"
"Support our YMCA" , or words to that effect.
