OBSERVATIONS:
Plumbing utility trench excavation was performed within the western limits of building 1. The trench
was carried down to design elevation utilizing the Deere 27 mini excavator. An approximately 4" thick
layer of clean imported bedding sand was placed at the bottom of the trench. A conflict in utility
invert grades was encountered when crossing the 15" diameter RCP that crosses through the building. The
plan is to drop the sanitary at the drain to cross below the RCP. Installation of the PVC sanitary
piping was not initiated on this date. All material excavated on this date is considered
structural/gravel base material and was stockpiled nearby for re use as utility trench backfill.
