Dear Tom,
The following observations are based on a periotic site visits by Brigitte Fortin,AIA,of my staff.
Observation:
Mansion:
• Mansion demolition is complete.Existing wood floor finishes and plaster ceiling have been removed to
allow installation of a better floor assembly(sound and fire rating).
• Underpinning of foundation still underway.
First and 2nd floor:
• First floor and 2'fl demolition is done, framing of new spaces is underway
3rd floor:
• Existing floor framing shows extensive fire damaged from a fire that burned down the roof 100 plus
years ago and was concealed by subfloor. Damaged elements were replaced by new framing specified
by McBrie.
Annex:
• Preparation for underslab plumbing is underway. Team decided to eliminate the basement slab
completely to allow for easier plumbing installation.
• Elevator shaft waterproofing is completed.

• Underslab plumbing is underway.
• 3rd floor interior brick is being cleaned to determine how much of it can be exposed.
First and 2"d floor:
• Rough plumbing is underway.
• Miscellaneous interior framing underway.
3rd floor:
Annex:
• Exterior window well have been poured.
• Lower level egress windows have been cut.
• Elevator shaft construction is underway.
• Framing of lower level and first floor bearing walls and units demising walls underway.
Recommendations or Actions:

First and 2"d floor:
• Rough plumbing is underway.
• Miscellaneous interior framing underway.
3rd floor:
• Loft is framed
Annex:
• Elevator shaft is completed
• First and second floor framing is substantially completed
• Exterior zip panel system is being installed.Joints were not rolled properly.
Recommendations or Actions:
1-Rolled the zip panel tape as recommended per manufacturer.

The following observations are based on a periotic site visits by Brigitte Fortin,AIA,of my staff.
Observation:
Mansion:
• Interior framing is substantially completed
• Window openings have been cut in brick wall
• Exterior soffits and trim have been replaced.Existing crown molding and trim below soffit has been
preserved and reinstalled.
Annex:
• Third floor and roof are being framed.Trim work is starting.
• Stair#1 was framed improperly are 3rd floor creating a head room issue but was reframed per plans.
• Interior framing is underway on first and 2nd floor.
Recommendations or Actions:
