This report represents this office's findings, conclusions and recommendations pertaining to the support of T-Mobile's proposed equipment. This office conducted an on-site visual survey of the above areas on September 2, 2015. Attendees included Robert Harris (HDG-Senior Field Technician). CONCLUSION SUMMARY: Limited steel erection plans prepared by A. Leo Nash Steel Corp. dated May 24, 1972 we available and were obtained for our use. A limited visual survey of the structure was completed in or near the areas of the proposed work. 4 Full building plans were not available for our reference. HDG's analysis was based on the following assumptions: • The roof beams are similar to the top floor beams. W 14x26 steel beams grade A36 were used. • 6" inch lightweight concrete slab (1 10 pcf). Based on our evaluation, we have determined that the existing structure IS CAPABLE of supporting the proposed equipment within or near the proposed locations with the following recommendations: i • The existing Gammas sector antenna frame is proposed to be relocated over roof beams. Location to be determined. • The roof rating results were marginal, but acceptable. HDG does not recommend adding anymore weight than what is proposed in this report. • Contractor to verify roof construction prior to any equipment installations. If field conditions differ from what is assumed in this report, then the engineer of record is to be notified as soon as possible. Further design may be required. The existing roof construction appears to consist of loose laid ballast on a roofing membrane over rigid insulation on fop lightweight concrete slab supported by steel beams and columns. ANTENNA / RRU SUPPORT RECOMMENDATIONS: • The new antennas and RRU's are proposed to be mounted on new steel pipes secured to the existing non-penetrating ballast frames located on the roof. • The existing Gammas sector antenna frame is proposed to be relocated over roof beams. Location to be determined. • Additional ballast is required to all sector frames. Reference the table below for the minimum ballast requirements per frame.
