The retaining wall is holding back earth from your side of the property. Therefore it is my understanding that repairs to the retaining wall should be accomplished by the owner of the property to which it serves. Please do the necessary repairs to the retaining wall. I conducted an inspection on Friday, June 26 , 1995 and found that the retaining wall is in danger of falling onto your neighbor ' s property located on Bridge Street . This retaining wall must be repaired and made safe immediately. Please contact this office upon receipt of this letter as to inform us as to your course of action in this matter .
