Public Meeting Minutes (ANNUAL MEETING)

Chairperson Robert Mitnik calls the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. Roll call was taken by Lynn
Duncan.
1. Annual Report and Financial Report – Executive Director
The SRA members were provided a draft of the annual report that included the financial report.
Lynn Duncan noted that the District Court project is the major project now before the SRA.
She noted that all sign and storefront façade approvals were listed in the report, and that private
development projects were also described in detail. These projects include the mixed-use
project at Washington and Dodge Street and the Peabody Essex Museum.
Duncan continued by noting that public projects occurring in the Urban Renewal Area are also
covered in the report. Projects like the MBTA garage did not necessarily come before the
Board for review and approval. Information about Old Town Hall, including the current
project to have its windows rehabilitated is described in the report.
Duncan also pointed out the loans that were made by the Planning Department on behalf of the
City over the past fiscal year to small businesses in the community. The financial report on the
back page shows that about $5,800 remains in the SRA account.
Mitnik remarked that the restaurant Bambolina is a very good restaurant, and is glad to see that
they received a loan to support their business.
Curran: Motion to accept fiscal year 2015 SRA Annual Report and Financial Report.

Baldini: Motion to re-elect Bob Mitnik as Chair, Grace Harrington as Vice-Chair, and Bob
Curran as Treasurer.
Seconded by Curran. Passes 3-0
3. Approval of 2016 Meeting Schedule
The SRA was provided a proposed meeting schedule for 2016.
Baldini: Motion to approve 2016 SRA meeting schedule.
Seconded by Curran. Passes 3-0
4. Adjournment
