Bresnahan . M-C 3 Zampell Properties, Inc. - Anthony Tosi File - Yst PROJECT: Masonic Building, 70 Washington_Street, Salem, MA -Q= _. z ALlterat'ions7-Fourth Floor - SUBJECT: Construction Control Site Inspections Inspection Date: Monday, October 23, 1989, 9:00 AM 1. On site: Gypsum board installers. 2. Reviewed gypsum board work along 5A and 5B and corridor. 5/8" Firecode Type X be- ing used as detailed. 3. Discussed with Mr. Bresnahan the need to seal all openings around penetrations. Inspection Date: Friday, October 27, 1989, 1:30 PM 1. On site: Suspended ceiling installers. 2. Delivered the approved building permit and plan to the site. It was left attached to the "New Corridor" wall behind the west double door to the elevator lobby. 3. All gypsum board work appears complete; finishing almost complete. 4. New gypsum board had not been installed along the corridor and other walls of Unit 5E, but upon inspection the existing gypsum board extends full height and measures 5/8" thick, and is assumed to be fire rated. Contractor should advise if this is not so. Those joints need to be taped and compounded, which appears to be under way. 5. Same is true for the north-south Corridor wall along 5D. New gypsum board has been installed above the existing wall where necessary. 6. Suspended ceiling grid being installed. SM/lmh 4 Floors Incorporated of New England P.O.
