Dear Owner,
I spoke with you a few weeks ago regarding a possible zoning violation at your above named property.
The information I have gathered is that the driveway was paved, for the first time, within the last five
or so years . The City of Salem Zoning Ordinance section 5.1.6 (2) requires the paved area of all
drives and parking areas to be set back at least two feet from the property line. You are directed to
have the pavement cut back two feet from the lot line. If you wish to appeal this zoning interpretation,
your Appeal is to the Salem Zoning Board of Appeals.
