Mr. Holloran has been working with the Union Square Condominium Association on resolving these issues. Many of these issues have already been resolved by Mr. Holloran and his construction forces. Based on my conversations with Mr. Holloran it is my understanding that he received a report of water infiltration in some of the units at 12 Union Street in fall of 2009. The apparent source of the leaks was the skylights.Mr.Holloran sent his roofer to repair the flashing at the skylights. After a storm with particularly heavy rain and wind in March of 2010, Mr. Holloran received a report of leaks from 6, 8, 10 Union Street. The apparent sources of the reported leaks were the the chimney flashing and the windows. Mr. Holloran sent his roofer to repair the flashing at the chimney and a crew to re-caulk the window trim where the trim meets the brick. In June of 2010, Mr. Holloran had a meeting on site with the Condominium Association to review the repair work and it was reported that there were no further leaks. Mr. Holloran intends to repair interior materials that were damaged by the leaks. As of this date, Mr. Holloran has not received subsequent reports of leaks since the June meeting. Currently, Mr. Holloran is in discussions with the condominium association on a few outstanding issues, such as re-pointing a few small areas of brick in the rear of building 6, 8, 10 Union Street.
