on July 18, 1990, a Stop-Work order was issued to the above referenced
property. You are in violation of the Massachusetts State Building Code, Section
113, (no permits on record) .
Please be advised that a building permit is required for the alterations being
done to the property. Work shall not continue until a permit is issued.
Failure to apply for a permit shall result in this office taking further legal
action.
Please contact me at this office within seven (7) days upon receipt of this

This is a formal request that you check on the stairway that has
been built behind the house at 96_1 Tremont§t. , Salem, MA. As an
abutter, I have observed this being built and it seems that it is
very unsafe. I do not think that a permit was issued for this, and
it looks as if there is also going to be additional building i.e.
2-3 family from a one family dwelling.
