I was incorrect. You DO need apply for a permit, but I will not require the signage to go through the DRB and Salem Redevelopment Authority as discussed before. So, you'll want to submit the following application filled out, to me: http://salem.com/Pages/SalemMA DPCD/signprocessapplic.pdf Please ensure that the property owner(not the leaser of the space) signs in the appropriate spot. I will also need a fee (a check made out to the City of Salem). The front page covers how to calculate the fee. Please provide the filled out application with your attached design (it would be helpful to show both existing signs), and the proposed refaced sign of each.
