Recommendation At its meeting on January 25, 2017 the Design Review Board voted unanimously (6-0) to recommend approval of the proposed installation of signage at 99 Washington Street (Honey Dew Donuts), subject to the proposed building signage being reduced to a size allowing one (1) inch clearance and the top and bottom of the sign, and to provide a bracket for the blade sign, that will allow it to be mounted centered along the fascia of building. Staff Comment for February 8, 2017 SRA Meeting The applicant has made the changes requested by the DRB as noted in its recommendation. Proposal The applicant seeks to erect a total of five (5) signs at its location on Washington Street, to include: 1. A 37" x 19.5' PVC building sign mounted flush and centered above the storefront window closest to the door.* 2. A 36" x 20" PVC blade sign mounted at the corner closest to City Hall, with a black metal bracket. 3. Two (2) vinyl window signs affixed to the upper edge of each storefront window. 4. A 20" x 10" vinyl sign affixed to the window on the front entrance door.
