Staff Comment The revised proposal appears to address the conditions above; however, the proposal has not been reviewed by the DRB member yet. It is anticipated this review will occur prior to the SRA meeting. Original Proposal The proposal includes a wall mounted sign and a new sign to cap an existing kiosk. The wall sign would have white letters mounted on a black background. The sign would use LED lights (proposed to be white light) to create a halo lighting. The kiosk sign would consist of an opaque black box with letters cut out. A white panel would be used to create the lettering which would pop approximately 1/8" beyond the plane of the box. The display portion of the kiosk would be refurbished with a white plexiglas case that would be lit. The wall sign is 16' x 4', the kiosk sign is 44" x 16", and the kiosk display is 30" x 36". The sign are complies with City and SRA guidelines. &L Salem Redevelopment =- AuthoritN Salem Redevelopment Authority Decision June 10, 2009 300 Derby Street (Murphy's Irish Pub): Discussion and vote on proposed exterior signage SRA Decision At their meeting on June 10, 2009, the SRA voted to approve the May 27, 2009 DRB recommendation for the proposed exterior signage at 300 Derby Street.
