Both signs will be of similar construction and dimension using repurposed wooden window sashes (18"x 32",glass has been removed) with a chalkboard field. We would like to locate ourA-Fames on the sidewalk directly in front of our businesses,within 0-6" from the facade of the building,leaving no less than 6' 6" of pedestrian clearance. Similar to a restaurant specials board,our chalkboard A-Frame signs will be used as an informal way to communicate our brand and product to potential customers,announcing special events&sales, showcasing merchandise,and posting phrases or images that relate to our business. In an increasingly technology driven marketplace,we think of ourA-Frame posts as microblogs or"tweets" that engage the public and convey our identity,philosophy and,often,humor.
