Two signs located between pairs of pumps (island merchandising signs 23"x 42 "bolted to the concrete island). These types of advertising signs are in violation of the Sign Ordinance, however they were allowed to remain when a sign permit was issued on 3/10/00. 2. Two small signs attached to gas pumps (wall mounted island merchandising signs 23"x 42" attached to the west pumps). These types of advertising signs are in violation of the Sign Ordinance, however they were allowed to remain when a sign permit was issued on 3/10/00. 3. One poster sign on the front of the building (snap frame wall sign fronting Mason Street). Presently there is not poster in the snap frame. Should a sign locate in this snap frame it would be in violation of Sign Ordinance, however they were allowed to remain when a sign permit was issued on 3/10/00. 4. Four poster signs on the side of the building(snap frame wall signs fronting North Street). Presently there is only one snap frame being used , the other three are empty. These types of signs are in violation of the Sign ordinance, however they were allowed to remain when a sign permit was issued on 3/10/00. 5. One cardboard Sprite bottle sign mounted to a utility pole. This type of sign is clearly in violation of the Sign Ordinance and must be taken down. The remaining signage found at Citgo/DunkinDonuts is in compliance with the Sign Ordinance. Please let me know if you would like more information regarding this topic. These signs are in heavy metal frames bolted to the concrete, that should also be removed so the station is not tempted to replace the sings. As for the previously existing signs: One (1) snap frame wall sign fronting Mason Street, and four(4) snap frame wall signs fronting North Street (view attached). Presently the snap frame wall sign on Mason Street doesn't have a sign in it and three of the four North Street snap frame signs do not have signs in them. These types of wall signs are not allowed in the sign ordinance. They could also be considered temporary signs but they are only allowed in windows 3-45 F "Temporary signs pertaining to special sales or events ...may be affixed to windows..." Two (2) island merchandising signs 23"x 42 "bolted to the concrete island, and two (2) wall mounted island merchandising signs 23" x 42" attached to the west pumps (view attached sheet). These types of accessory signs are not specifically stated in the Sign Ordinance, the only category that it could potentially fall under is Temporary Signage, which can only be affixed to windows of the building.
