Hi Sam,
You sign permit is being entered into the system today. The Building Department just needs the
name and contact information for the sign erector. Can you please send me that information? It was
not included on the permit application.
The Building Department then mails the permit to you, unless you would like to come n1 and pick it
up.

Samir,
I have reviewed your sign application and can not approve the sign for
the following reasons:
1. "The registered trade mark of a specific commodity may occupy no
more than 25% of the area of a sign." The Coors Light logos on the
sign you have proposed is greater than what is permitted. The
4
mountains behind the lettering is part of Coors' trade mark and
occupies more than 75% of the sign area.
2. Changeable number/letters are not permitable on signs, as is
present on the lottery winnings section of the sign.
3. The banners below the billboard and the signs attached to the fence
are illegal and must be removed immediately.
In addition, as we've discussed, the sign is larger than is allowed by the
Sign Ordinance. The Building Inspector will verify that the sign was
legally permitted when first installed prior to approving the sign.
I know that you are working with Coors on this sign design. If you/they
revise the sign to comply with the items above, feel free to email the
design to me for review.
Best Regards,
Natalie

Recommend approval Tom St.Pierre re: legality of
billboard
The billboard is an existing sign and the applicant is proposing to
reface it.The Building Inspector has been asked to verify that the
billboard was legally put up.An initial sign design proposal was denied
due to a Coors trademark that occupied the entire sign. The current
version is simplified, however still very large for a residential
neighborhood.
