RECOMMENDATION: At their meeting on April 27, 2005, the Design Review Board (DRB) recommended approval of the sign as modified in the plans submitted by Winter Street Architects and dated April 15, 2005. PROPOSAL: The proposal includes the installation of eighteen (18) signs and vinyl window frosting along Essex Street and Sewall Street. The proposal includes the installation of two 12"x 77"wall signs, two 3'5"x 2' hanging signs, seven 12"x 12" "Y"window logos, and four 17"x 4'1" window signs along Essex Street. The proposal includes the installation of two 12"x 77" wall signs, two 3'5"x 2' hanging signs, seven 12"x 12" "Y"window logos, and four 17"x 4'1" window signs along Essex Street. The project also picks up on a 2005 signage package for the Essex Street YMCA which was approved by both boards,but not fully implemented. Winter Street Architects'proposal includes two new custom wood storefront systems that will match the existing building standard along with new signage,both previously approved and proposed.
