An existing blade sign holder will be utilized. Additional information on the door decal, lettering size, and sign colors will be presented at the meeting. No lighting will be added to the sign. The size, lighting (none) and method of attachment will remain the same. In addition, we would like to place vinyl lettering on our windows. There are 4 windows that are 3.5 feet wide by 10 feet tall. We propose lettering of 1'x3.5' on each window, covering 10% of the existing glass surface. Salem Redevelopment Authority Design Review Board Proposal July 28, 2010 281 Essex Street, Suite C3 (Armstrong Field Real Estate): Discussion of proposed signage DRB Recommendation At their meeting on July 28, 2010, the DRB voted to recommend approval of the proposed signage at 281 Essex Street, Suite 3 for Armstrong Field Real Estate with the following conditions: - On the blade sign, the currently displayed white type in the logo shall be yellow; - the window decals shall have the background green match the window trim green color with yellow type, the font to be Arial Narrow in upper and lower case; and - the door decal shall be replaced with yellow, matching the sign the Armstrong Field Inc. font in Times New Roman and the rest of the type to be Arial Narrow. Staff Comment The applicant has revised the proposal to conform to the DRB conditions.
