It is permanently adhered to a resin board that is part of the sign. It will be moved to the right to make room for the Directory. One issue that has arisen is the"Ghost Tours' sign on the west side of the building. It was your intent to move this sign to the right and hang the new directory sign in its place. However, the"Ghost Tours"sign was never permitted and will need to be removed. I'm assuming it is covering the permitted "Salem 13 Ghosts" sign which is likely damaged as a result of the"Ghost Tours" sign being put over it. Please let me know what approach you will take with the presumably damaged "Salem 13 Ghosts" sign. I will be out of the office through Wednesday, July 6. Have a good holiday weekend. The sign image shows horizontal white lines between the panels, a thin white line going around all of them, and a wide white border.Are all three of these white elements going to be part of the sign? NO, THE WHITE HORIZONTAL LINES SEPARATE THE STORES. THE WIDE WHITE BORDER IS JUST THE PAPER, NOT PART OF THE SIGN. THE THIN LINE AROUND THE OUTSIDE IS TO DIFFERENTIATE THE BLACK FRAME FROM THE BLACK BACKGROUND OF THE SIGN. 2. The leading/vertical spacing needs to be adjusted. If you look at the New England Magic panel, there is black space above and below the text. Compare that to the other panels which are too tight. Obviously, New England Magic has twice the space to work with, but the others do not have consistent spacing and are too crowded--especially Past, Present, Future and Cornice. A small adjustment to the letter height should take care of it. EACH STORE HAS THE SAME AMOUNT OF SPACE. ADJUSTMENTS WERE MADE TO ACCOMMODATE THE DANGLING LETTERS SUCH AS g, q, and y IN THE SUBTITLES, NEW ENGLAND MAGIC HAS 2 STORES, SO WITH AN EYE TO THE FUTURE, SHOULD SHE MOVE OUT,THE NEXT STORE JUST HAS THEIR SIGN OVERLAYED.. 3. Are you planning to reuse the 13 Ghosts sign? NO. THE SIGN ON THAT SIDE OF THE BUILDING IS NOT UP. If so, where are you proposing to put it? 4. Please submit a photo indicating the location of the directory sign on the other side of the building. SEE ATTACHMENT. THE PRESENT SIGN WILL BE MOVED TO THE RIGHT.
