of signage.
Recommendation
At its meeting on August 23, 2017 the DRB voted unanimously to recommend approval
of the proposed installation of signage at 55 Lafayette Street (Mark Your Spot).
Proposal
The applicant seeks to install two signs at his storefront:
1.) A 28" x 37" blade sign mounted within the existing standard black metal bracket,
to be made of reclaimed wood, with 1/2" thick brushed aluminum laminate over
black letters. The tallest letters are 5".
2.) A 1' x 1' vinyl decal affixed to the window of the front entrance door, centered on
the upper half of the door.
Staff Comments:
The proposed signage complies with the City's Sign Ordinance and Commercial Design
Guidelines.
