DESIGN REVIEW BOARD RECOMMENDATION
51 Lafayette Street (Cornerstone Books) —Proposed Signage
RECOMMENDATION:
At their meeting on November 16, 2005, the DRB approved the proposed signage as
submitted,with the condition that exact measurements be taken of the sign band to
ensure the sign fits correctly in the area.
PROPOSAL:
The proposal includes the installation of one hanging sign along Lafayette Street that
fits with the rest of the building signage plan, two (2) 18" x 8' wall signs reading
"books, games, music, video, cafe", one (1) 24" x 15'wall sign reading"Cornerstone
Books, and small vinyl graphic signs affixed to the windows. The wall signs and
hanging sign will be made of prefinished aluminum faces with extruded aluminum
picture frame type molding. The letter will be silver applied vinyl.
